Writing Coach & English Tutor
I coach students on personal narratives, essays, research, and creative writing.
I focus on voice, tone, structure, vocabulary, and style. I encourage creativity, originality, and a clear message.
I tutor students in English, focusing on grammar, punctuation, sentence construction, and reading skills.
Learning in our Zoom classroom is a combination of learning, setting goals, and achieving academic success.
I thrive in the collaboration process, and all of my lessons are individually tailored for each student.
Through my Master's degree studies in Transformative Education, my Zoom sessions are grounded in
patience, collaboration, the student's voice, and learner autonomy.
My focus is on developing long-term relationships that include mentorship, guidance, and advanced coaching.

Online English and Writing Tutor
I was an online tutor for Spanish, Creative Writing, Essay Writing, and Literature Studies.
I tutored grades 6-12 and 1st-year university students across North America.
I offered Essay Review services: students submitted essays for review, and they were returned with feedback and suggestions.
Tutoring was done using the Socratic methodology: answers are not given by the tutor, but instead, questions are asked of the student, which guide them to discover and uncover greater understanding of concepts and ideas.

Oil and Gas Industry - CPA
I attended Mount Royal University from 1990 to 1992, where I graduated with my Certified Production Accountant Designation.
2008 - 2017
Wanderer, Traveler, Seeker
When I left the Oil and Gas industry in 2008, I traveled the world extensively for nearly ten years before deciding to return to university in 2017. I traveled through much of Latin America, but spent large portions of my time in the Southern Baja.
